Packaging: It comes a heavy blush pink jar, and it comes with the cutest little spoon! I love that they included this… it keeps the product clean and it takes the guessing game out of application amount!

Consistancy: A runny gelatinous texture that thicken up with stirring. It separates after time. This comes from the natural components of the product.

Ingredients:

-Watermelon Extract: Soothes irritated skin, hydrates, and delivers essential vitamins. .
-Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates and visibly plumps skin.
-AHA: Gently exfoliates and hydrates to reveal smoother skin over time; exfoliates and removes dead surface skin cells to smooth texture and brighten the skin; and helps to refine and exfoliate with the pores to deeply clarify.
-Peony Root: Brightens and soothes.

Thoughts: I originally bought this because I was looking for a hydrating sleeping mask. My skin is normal to dry, and currently I have dry patches I was looking to heal. It turns out… I got benefits from this mask I wasn’t expecting! Not so much the hydrating part…but it did turn out to be a great chemical exfoliant!

The directions state there are two ways to use this-at night, as the final step in your skincare routine. Sleep with this on and rinse off in the morning. Or during the day-leave on for 10 minutes and rinse off. I’ve really been enjoying this as a sleeping mask. When I had this mask on for only 10 minutes during the day, I felt like I was left with a residue. When I left it on overnight, there was no residue left after rinsing. It seems to me, this mask needs time to absorb into your skin. Which is fine with me- its a treat putting this on at night!

The mask is refreshing, cooling, and smells like a ripe watermelon in the summer. It smells divine…it wipes all my stressors away. It really helps me wind down at night!

It instantly feels like a drink of moisture to my skin, but I find that when I wake up and rinse this off, my skin feels super tight. Now this could be the hyaluronic acid plumping my skin, but I find that I can’t wait to slather on a moisturizer.

Although my skin feels tight, it feels soooo smooth! I’m talking baby’s butt smooth. My skin looks bright and refreshed (not so much dewy, just less dull). I have an old breakout that seemed smoother and less red. The AHA’s do a great job of exfoliating while keeping sensitivity at bay. I’m amazed at how well it exfoliates yet gentle on the skin.

If your looking for a gentle overnight exfoliator, this mask is great! If you’re looking for extra hydration, you might need to look elsewhere. Although if your oily, this could be the perfect amount of hydration. I’ll be using this when my skin is feeling dull and needs some brightening.
