Hey guys! I rounded up my favorite drugstore dupes for 2017. Some are nearly identical, if not better, than the higher end brands. Don’t get me wrong, I love me a trip to Sephora, but when I find a drugstore comp, I get all giddy inside 🙂 🙂 🙂
First up is a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in “Super Cindy”. I picked up Super Cindy, because it reminded me of that spicy 90s nude, I used to love so much. I thought it’d be hard to find something comparable, but Soap and Glory’s Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick in “Naked Talent” is a nearly identical shade match.
Check em out! The Soap and Glory is slightly more creamy, but the Charlotte Tilbury has more lasting power…
One of my favorite bronzers is the Too Faced Sweet Tea bronzer. It gives an all over, natural looking glow and is the perfect shade. Milani’s Baked Bronzer in “Dolce” gives the same glow only the shade is slightly lighter. You can build it up to match the Sweet Tea bronzer 👍🏻
Blush The Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush formula is one of my favorite formulas. The powder is smooth, finely milled, and blends beautifully on the cheeks. They are marbled with the ambient lighting powders to give a beautiful glow. I especially love the shade “Luminous Flush”. It is a neutral pink with a soft champagne highlight.
Check out how similar Milani Baked Blush in “Dolce Pink” is! The color is spot on. The only difference is the Milani has more apparent flecks of glitter. I would gladly use the Milani in place of the Hourglass though. It’s just as gorgeous!
Becca Cosmetics blush is the shade “Songbird” was raved about by YouTubers like Jaclyn Hill, and it quickly became one of their best sellers. It’s a peachy warm toned shade with a subtle gold sheen. It gives such a natural flush of color to the face.
Essence blush not only has to be one of the best buys at the drugstore at $2.99, but it’s also a near perfect shade match for the Becca blush. The formula is more powdery by is still easy to blend. No patchiness here! Just a gorgeous glow!
And last but not least, highlighter! The Mary LouManizer highlight by the Balm was one of my first high end makeup purchases back in high school. I still go back to it to this day. The powder is super creamy and blends so easily! The shade is a light champagne with the slightest hint of rose gold. The effect you get is mirror-like, yet you can’t detect one single fleck of color. They nailed this shade!
I never thought it’d be able to replace my MaryLou, but Colourpop’s Super Shock highlight in “Lunch Money” is right on the money! (No pun intended…haha I just kill myself 😂) but no seriously, this has the exact same champagne reflection. This may be slightly lighter- more of a pearly finish but very close! This is a cream highlight that blends beautifully without taking of makeup underneath. I’d easily use this as a substitute!
I hope you guys found this helpful and maybe even discovered some new products to try. I have these, and a few others, included in my latest YouTube video! I’d love to connect with you guys on my channel as well!
Thanks so much for your support and let me know if your guys have found any dupes lately! I love an excuse to go shopping 😉
