Thoughts: Ok I have to admit…I bought this, because Caroline Hirons recommended it. Yes, I was influenced by an influencer. Imagine that? If you don’t know her, she is the queen of skincare blogging. Her blog has an abundance of resources from skincare routines to ingredient descriptions.

I have learned so much from her. My most important takeaway? Don’t buy into marketing ploys. Think about what you want to get out of a product. Do you want to brighten skin? Improve fine lines? Decrease puffiness? Look at the actual ingredients and buy products with ingredients that are proven to work! Skincare can be so overpriced these days…don’t fall for something with a bunch of fillers!

So that brings me to the Moisture Bomb. I was looking for a moisturizer to combat my dry, winter skin. I wanted something lightweight, that would absorb quicky, and plump my skin. This moisturizer checks of these boxes!

This has the faintest fragrance to it. Almost a light cucumber scent, but have no fear…the fragrance comes from the natural ingredients in this cream. The minute I applied this to my skin, I noticed a refreshing cooling sensation. It has plenty of slip to spread nicely and absorbs in a matter of minutes. Once it’s absorbed, my skin feels softened and any dry patches are erased.

It claims to diminish pores which I didn’t necessarily notice this, but my fine lines did look more plump. I had a glowing hydration to my skin which aaaaalmost made me not want to apply makeup. My skin looked THAT good. Now obviously that would be a cold day in hell. I can’t get away from my makeup obsession, but I did love the look of my bare skin!

This is going to get me through the cold eastern winter with it’s intense hydration, but I will also be able to use this in the summer because it is so lightweight. This product is aptly named- it is literally an explosion of moisture on your skin!

I’m digging this. Moisture Bomb – you’re the bomb!

xoxo
