Thoughts: Ok I feel a little guilty posting this after it was taken off Sephora’s Weekly Wow list, but there’s hope! you can use your Sephora coupon until 12/13 for $15, $20, or $25 off depending on your rewards level! yay!
So let’s delve in to this palette… let’s first talk packaging. This is hands down my most stunning palette! It is beautifully sitting atop any vanity. It has a magnetic closure making it feel luxe and also has a HUGE, did I say HUGE mirror. I will definitely be using this for on the go makeup application. It also contain the cutest brush that actually performs really well! The one end is flat for packing on shadow, and there is a tiny blunt end for smudging or lining the eye. I can’t say I have a brush like this in my collection!
The eyeshadows contain neutral matte shades but all with a little bit of edge to take it to the next level. They are buttery, blendable, and a little to no fallout. The two darkest shades can get a little patchy but that is usually the case with all black shadows. My favorite shades are “Blow” (light nude with the slightest sheen). I love this for a brow highlight or all over the lid for a pop. I also love “Extra Bitter”. This one surprised me the most. I usually don’t go for warm tones…they tend to make me look sickly, but this shade is soooo striking. It is a burnt orange brown that would enhance any eye color. I may be warm toned converted! This palette is a new staple!
4.8/5 stars!
